Vickers CVCS/CVI Insert Spring Dimensions

You measure the spring with a micrometer. It tells the cracking pressure of the spring. And the chart tells which insert kit to use and the function. You can find the function stamped on the insert sleeve and it will give you a letter/number code to use.

If your spring is color dyed, it just helps with the ID purpose. And it helps the supplier do a cross reference to a letter code that tells the pressure cracking.  If your spring is not dyed, you can tell the pressure cracking by the wire diameter.
