Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 40 – Adding an Endcap Dowel Pin

A dowel pin is being added to the M46 motor housing. The housing and endcaps can be interchangeable with each other. If you used a new housing with an old endcap, there would be no dowel pin. And vice versa. Eventually the older parts will no longer be available.
So when you do replace your parts keep up with all your model and part numbers. And any other additional paperwork you have. It makes it easier when ordering parts.
