Place the cradle on a clean area. Place the rocker cam on the cradle and make marks so you know where your top assy goes. Put the oring around the spacer and put in the vane seal. Put in the check valve within the spacer and put together the two backup plates that have a v notch. Next put in the cartridge in the slots in cam and do the same on the other side.
Put in four holddown vanes along with springs. The D & V models put in on the side of the control vanes. Place the control chambers on clean surfaces and make sure the seal grooves are going up. Put the steel balls in the counterbore holes in the seal grooves. Put grease on seals and put it in the grooves in the control chamber. On the tapered side of the seals it needs to be the grooves and the ends have to coverup the steel balls.
Put the control chamber that has a seal and ball, put together over the control vane. It needs to be right up against the cam. Turn the chamber unit til it goes over the control vane assy. You will need to turn it in the other direction til the dowel pins can be pushed thru the chamber and go in the cradle. Put the chamber the same way on the other side.
There are two sets of chamber covers you can get. If it is a CW then it is a RH rotation and CCW is a LH rotation pump. The pump shaft end tells which rotation. You will need to put in the covers with their tubing holes and tapped holes on top of the pump. Put in the chamber on the control chamber over the dowel pins. The T mark means rocker cam and cradle have the holes on the top too.
Put in your screws and tighten it up. Put in orings in each cover. The tubes go in the rear holes. Make sure they fit in there tight. If you have P and D models the orifice screws go in the servo stem. If you have a V model put in one orifice, where the other models have two.
The stem and plate go next on rocker cam at about a 9:00 position. If you have a B it goes about a 3:00 position. Put in screws and tighten it up. Make sure your set screws don’t stick out.
