U Cup Seals – General Information

These u cup seals come in different sizes and shapes. They are mainly used to seal rams or rods.  With them being so small they are widely used more so than other sizes. When installing these seals with them being a single lip design, you will need to make certain adjustments for these kinds of seals.

The most common series come in different kinds of reinforced fabric that will take on different pressures, environments, temperatures and the type of air or fluid with which the packing needs to operate.

Uses for the seals are for oil drilling, submarines, pumps, presses, construction equipment, industrial machinery, mining equipment, farm machinery, off road equipment, service station equipment, hydraulic valves and pneumatic equipment.
