Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 40 Cylinder Block Kit Change

As it is right now the M46 motors use a cylinder block kit that has a slipper retainer guide (ball guide) built into the cylinder block.  Now the kits have a new part in there…another retainer guide that has hold down pins to gives pressure from the block spring to the slipper retainer. This  result is positive hold down pressure that spreads to the slippers and swashplate.

And on the M46 fixed motors it will change to the pump style cylinder block it. It use to be on just special models.

Due to things not being so so on mating splines on the drive shaft and cylinder block, on the fixed motor drive shafts will also have to change.

You can still get fixed motor style cylinder block kits to repair the older models.
