In the top diagram is shows an extra long bearing rod that produces the maximum support against side loads and external misalignment. It has a high grade of 660 bronze material that helps in the prevention of non scoring, the properties in it help also with the dimensional stability. The bearing is pilot fitted in the head giving off a true concentrically and gives the bearing and seal a long performance life. And you can change out the cartridge easily too.

The middle diagram is a self aligning U cup/ oring seal that operates pressure with the seal forces giving off a positive seal with little friction. The urethane poly pack rod seal gives a long life when it operates at a range of -65f ti +200f. Viton seals -15f to +400f can be used with the many special fluids. Make sure the fluids can work with your seals.

The last diagram shows a double duty twin rod wiper that protects dirt from entering the rod bearing and rod seal. The external lip doesn’t let contamination get into the bearing area on the in stroke and the internal lip wipes rod out stroke serves as a second seal.
