Denison Model E Variable Displacement Hydraulic Pump – Port Plate & Pin

To take the port plate on, put the hanger housing , port block and shaft assy. that has the external end of the shaft downward.
Slip port plate over the shaft and into the pilot bore of the body, to make sure they align up with the port plate pin.
Try moving the port plate, if you don’t have it on the port block just right it will move. So if it moves, you will need to go back and repeat steps.
Also, check to make sure you have the right rotation on the plate.

Push the dowel pin down in to the block. Make sure it is long enough to reach the bottom. Put in oring onto the plug and put it into the hole in hanger housing. And you are done.
