When doing the assembly align the dowel pins with the bushing holes and press bushing into the case. If they want line up, use the following instructions.
Heat the bushing case (3) to 300 degrees before putting it in. This will make the bushing case expand out, letting the alignment holes in bushing flange with the dowel pin in bushing case.
Take out the dowel pin, turn bushing 90 degrees to have it line up,The oil holes in bushing with holes in bushing case.
Now press bushing in case. Drill a .308in dia. hole .25 inches deep in bushing case bushing hole in hushing flange as a guide.
Put petroleum jelly to oring and put oring in oring groove.
