Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 40 Neutral Start Switch

This upgrade of improvements is for the M46 variable and tandem pumps.
The improvement was to decrease the control binding, which would create a possibility that it want go in neutral.
The NSS cover, cover gasket and mounting table are affected by this improvement. The cover and gasket can be interchangeable with the old style..the new mounting plate is not interchangeable with the old style. So in Sauer’s eyes the whole thing would not be interchangeable. Probably have to replace all the parts.
And the older parts have been discontinued. You can get the new kit, which has the newer parts in it. The parts numbers will be the same. So if you are replacing, make sure your supplier has the newer parts when ordering.
