The torque values listed on the chart are general use only. Always, check for tightness periodically. And use the appropriate fasteners. If you use lower grade, then it will not last as long. and use the right lubricant for the job.
If you application calls for a different value that is not on the chart or the charts is higher or lower than what is recommended… use what is recommended from you supplier or manufacture. These are general guidelines to go by.
Make sure you use the right tool to tighten or loosen certain types of screws and nuts.
