Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 40 – Changes in Swashplate Feedback Pin

Sundstrand has changed the design of the swashplate feedback pin by making it more rounder. These are used in the variable pumps. If you have any of these pins, you may return them to the supplier and get credit toward purchasing the new pin.
While you have your unit torn down for either just keeping up with maintenance or needing a repair job done, there is somethings you need to know about the pin. if the slot in the feedback pin has turned and is facing the rotating group or 180 degrees away from the rotating group, then the pin should be replaced.
