Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 40 Retention Method for Check Valves

As always improving their parts, this is no different, Sauer is changing it’s ways to check its valve assemblies. It will use the retention technique. The older method let the check valve and SCR valve assy. to be disassembled. The new way of doing this is that the retaining ring can’t hang up on the valve and it want let it be put together either.
All repairs you do now require that the conversions, purchased of a check valve have the whole assembly be exchanged.
The new and old are interchangeable. There is a special plug (#4350182) and the internal retaining ring (#4350183) are no longer available. And you can not get them as service parts either.
