If you have a white square – wipe o.d. of the seal with oil before putting it into the body. Put grease on the seal I. D. on before you put the shaft in.

If you have a white circle – put together with spring toward the bearing.

If you have a blacked out diamond – if you order parts by different quantities, flex side plate kits have (4) F3 seal pack s/a.

If you have a blacked out square – it is in the cartridge kit.

If you have a blacked out triangle – it is in the single shaft seal kit
