Take out the plugs (20) from both sides of the housing and remove one valve assembly (22) and spring (16) from one side then the other side. Look over the valves carefully for any contamination, nicks, etc and if there is any dirt, remove it. If any of the parts need replacing, do so and then reinstall back into the housing.
