Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 90 Journal Bearings & Cylinder Block Install

If the bearing is put in the correct way, it will be .020 in. under the valve plate surface of the end cap.
When putting in a new journal bearing, the bearing needs to be proportionate to the arbor to give it the minimum bore diameter. Slowly press the sizing arbor into the bearing to measure it up exactly.
Squeeze the cylinder block spring and take out the spiral retaining ring, retainer, spring and spring seat.
Now flip this in reverse to put it back together.
