John Deere Crawler 755B

How to Install a Hood

You will need to take off the exhaust pipe, collar, side shields and air cleaner cap.

Disconnect latch (H) and take off screws (D) to remove hood (I).

Take apart the hood and repair/replace parts as they are needed.

Put the new isolators (F & J) using multi purpose adhesive.

Put the hood back on.

Put the side shields and air cleaner cap. Height difference between air clearner and hood needs to be .45 – .16 in. If you need to, adjust air cleaners position.

Put in the exhaust pipe and muffler.

C – spring pin

D – cap screw (3 used)

E – washer (3 used)

F – isolator

G – latch base (2 used)

H – latch (2 used)

I – hood

J – isolator

K – hinge

L – access door

M – latch strap

 

How to Remove and Install a Cowl

Make sure you turn of the battery disconnect switch to OFF position.

Take out the instrument panel.

Then take out the cowl. Repair or replace any parts as needed.

Install cowl (make sure to wipe it down, clean of debris) and instrument panel.
